Review: St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming Mask

Hello my lovelies, I'm back again from my hiatus...
Internet connection has been pissing me off...I can't seem to get proper connection to actually blog..sighhhhhh....

Anyway just thought I wanna do a short review on the St.Ives Mineral Clay Firming Mask before my internet go all bonkers again! U couldn't imagine the euphoria I was in when my blogger dashboard finally loaded..
So here it is...

I've used this mask for about 3-4 times now and I am impressed by it. I love the smell of it, it reminds me of mint which is really relaxing. Initially I was worried that I might break out from it, but it didn't happen and I was sooooo sooooo sooooo happy with it.

It is also stated on the packaging that this product is formulated without parabens and phthalates, which is good because a quick google and u will find that parabens can actually lead to higher risk of breast cancer and phthalates can damage the lung, liver and kidneys etc.

I find the mask really easy to use. Just apply a thin layer on a cleansed face and wait for about 10-15 mins for product to dry. After that, rinse it off and u're done. I did experience slight tingling and tightening feeling when I have the mask on which is totally fine because it is already stated on the packaging that this might occur.

I really did see a difference after applying this mask. My face felt much cleaner and firmer right after the application. But I do need to warn u that frequent application may cause ur skin to be slightly dry (I used it 4 times in a week so that I can do a review soon..LOL). So I think using this mask twice a week would be sufficient.

Overall, this is definitely a good product to purchase especially if you don't want to spent a bomb on a facial mask that you can apply every week!

I give it a rating of 4/5.

P/S: Reviews for the rest of the product will be up soon. I hate my internet connection. LOL..Sorry for the lack of reply in the comments section too...I feel really bad but my internet connection..OMG..I dun even know how to begin with the complains..Bear with me ladies..

XOXO

  1. I had no idea this even existed! Thanks for reviewing it! Now I can try a clay mask from a company I love and trust without going all the way to Whole Foods just to get the Burts Bees clay mask I've been using and over-paying for! YAY!

  2. Thanks for the review! This mask looks pretty good; I've used St.Ives apricot scrub for awhile now, and really like it, so I might give this mask a try too :)
