Favorite Beauty Treats

I've never been really into visiting facial/skin care salons for as long as I can remember. Therefore, in order to provide an occasional boost for my skin, some beauty treats became essentials in my weekly beauty routine. Though I haven't been following this regime as religiously lately, I thought I would drop by and share some of my favorite beauty treats (mostly skin) which in my opinion, had definitely helped maintain my skin condition lately.

My Beauty Diary Masks in Mixed Berry and Apple Polyphenol
The MBD Mixed Berry and Apple Polyphenol masks are my all time favorite sheet masks. Mixed Berry gives the benefits of brightening and firming while Apple Polyphenol tightens pores, refines and hydrates skin. I love using either of them at least once a week, especially during weekdays as they are convenient, effective and work really well to soothe my often tired skin. I did experience some reactions with other types of MBD masks (aside from the Strawberry Milk mask which is limited edition). If you have a busy work schedule and is looking out for quick & easy masks, definitely give these a try.

LUSH Lip Scrub in Bubblegum
I love the scent of this lip scrub to the extent that I want to eat it. At least thrice a week, I would use this lip scrub early morning for exfoliation. I usually finish this by applying a layer of lip balm and it feels absolutely luxurious. Even though this may not necessarily be the best lip scrub ever (considering price point), the scent is absolutely amazing!

LUSH Mask of Magnaminty
I've tried a few masks from LUSH and this is definitely my favorite outta all of them in terms of price and effectiveness. As what it suggests on the packaging, this mask provides deep cleansing to the face and exfoliates all the impurities and dead skin off. I love how cooling my skin feels on the  application and the way it brightens up my skin after I wash it off. I try to use this at least twice if not once a week for exfoliating purpose and a tub of it lasts forever since a little really does go a long way.

Kose Seikisho Mask White
This is my favorite product from Kose. It is a peel-off mask which provides brightening effect to the skin and removes dead skin (it doesn't remove black heads though). The mask is black in color and comes in a gel-cream like consistency. Once applied, it dries off really fast. However, the removing process may hurt a little to some people as the mask really adheres strongly to the skin - I usually avoid applying it to anywhere near my brows. As compared to the Mask of Magnaminty, I try to use this once every other week since removing process can be quite tedious.

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack_EX
Another much raved product in the beauty community. I didn't instantly fall in love with this mask at first, but after experiencing constant late nights at work, this sleeping mask has became my daily staple and absolute love among all the other sleeping masks available in the market. It hydrates and gives plumpness back to my skin and best of all, it is really easy to use. I've tried the sleeping mask from Naruko before and whilst I do enjoy that, I still prefer Laneige as it feels much lighter on my skin.

What are your favorite beauty treats?

xx

    1. Yup, I think it can be a useful product especially in the mornings when lips tend to be drier than usual. A good exfoliation would usually do the trip for the smooth lipstick application right after.
