Swatches & Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Bold Gold

Happy Sunday!

I'm back with with yet another swatches and review of the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow. The third color that I'm swatching today is Bold Gold. Similar to Tough as Taupe and Bad to the Bronze, I believe that this is a relatively popular color in the collection. Bold Gold is a medium gold color that comes with some gorgeous shimmers. As with the other colors within the collection, the texture of the product is smooth and pretty easy to work with and as far as it's name suggests, it lasts pretty long on the lid and works relatively well as a base to intensify any eye look that you are going for. That said, I do feel that Bold Gold's texture is smoother as compared to Tough as Taupe.

The product is packed in a glass packaging with a plastic screw cap. I personally feel that the packaging is comparable to that of MAC's paint pots and I actually prefer Maybelline's packaging as its much flatter and easier to store. Each package comes packed with 14 oz/4 g of product which could potentially last for a pretty long time.

In terms of comparability to MAC's paint pots, I'd say that Bold Gold tends to be more comparable to my MAC paint pots which is pretty surprising considering that the other two colors that I've swatched before this were less smooth in texture and more drying.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow retails at SG$15.90 and can be purchased online here or at any major drugstores.

Have you tried any of the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow?

xx

    1. Wow, Vicky! That's amazing, you must have owned all of the colors...it's a sad thing that Maybelline did not release all the colors here in Singapore/Malaysia..
