Monthly Favorites #4: July Favorites

Hello everyone! I just got back from a work trip last night and thought I should do a quick post here to share some of my favorites for the past month. Again, sorry for not keeping up with my postings as I was caught up with all the work travels that I had to commit to for a few months now.

Some of you might remember that my previous holy grail foundation was the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. It definitely still is but recently with my rather hectic schedule, I had fallen in love with Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua. I love the light consistency and the dewy finish that it gives. Whilst it may not be as long lasting as I hope it can be, topping some matte powder (aka Maybelline Dream Matte powder) definitely helps control oil throughout the day and make sure that it stays longer. The coverage is also light to medium yet buildable. That said, I would usually apply some concealer before/after applying to cover up some spots that the foundation can't cover up.

I am also in love with the Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment that came in one of my Bella Box subscription. It was the perfect oil that helped tame my crazy frizzy locks while I was traveling for work meetings. Many times, I find myself pulling this out from my makeup pouch before an important meeting to make sure that my hair stays in place.

A new recent find of mine is Heroine Make's Long & Curl mascara. I bought this from Watsons and have been loving it as it gives the ohmp I need for my lashes. I used to feel that eyeliner is something that I couldn't live without but lately, mascara is the must have for me to make sure that I look awake through the day.

Victoria Secret's Noir Tease is my current go to body mist. The scent is vanilla, sweet and floral and I am obsessed with it. Many compared this to Viva la Juicy but since I don't own the latter, I can't compare it for you guys. I think I might go get the perfume version since this is appropriate for work and totally suitable for a night's out.

Last but not least, what type of favorites post will it be without mentioning blushes? Since I have been traveling for work really frequently for meetings, my current favorite blushes are MAC Well Dressed and NARS Sex Appeal. Both are blushes that I know will never go wrong regardless of how awake I am in the morning while piling up colors to my face. They are also perfect in adding some glow to my pale complexion.

What are your July Favorites?

    1. Thanks for dropping a comment here! :) I love the Chanel foundation, trust that you will like it if you prefer lightweight foundation.

  2. Hmmm...I think I wanna try out the MAC well dressed blushers. I like the color and this is the kind of shade which is perfect for my skin tone.
