My Week in Makeup #6

This week in makeup.

I haven't been putting on any base this week since I've been having pretty bad skin days lately. I thought I would also give my skin a little bit of break and only relied on a mixtures of concealers and powders for coverage.

I still opt for my Tarte Clean Slate Poreless 12-Hr Perfecting Primer to start off my routine, so that whatever that I layer on top will stay longer in the hot and humid weather in Singapore. Since there's no base as coverage, I used a mixture of Revlon Color Stay Concealer combined with MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC30 and topped them with Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre as the overall finishing powder. I've been enjoying the Chanel powder lately with the ELF kabuki brush. The brush size is perfect to prevent any spilling of powders as it is finely milled. The texture is also good as a light cover to blur out my pores, making my skin look more put together.

I pulled out my 88 Warm Palette to experiment on more color combination instead of sticking with my usual Inglot or Urban Decay Naked palettes. With the wide range of neutral colors, it was pretty easy to rotate my brow color with the darker shades of brown in the palette. To ensure that my eyeshadow goes on more easily, I rotated between the Urban Decay Primer Potion and MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre.

For mascara, since I am on a mission of "Project 10 Pan", I was pretty loyal to the Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara all week.  To finish up the entire look, I added some colors to my cheeks with NYX Pinched, an old favorite hidden in my stash of makeup.  Lip products was the usual combination of Nivea Moisture Essential Lip Balm and MAC Modesty. However, I've also been using MAC Chatterbox for when I'm out and about.

What are your go-to makeup for the week?

xx
