Haul: A Few New Treats

There are few things sitting accumulated on my vanity since the start of the year which I've been wanting to share with you. First off, something that's not a stranger to this blog is my beloved SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. I finished using my previous bottle (250mL of goodness) at the start of this year and went ahead to purchase the Jumbo Size (330mL) while at Changi Duty Free. The Jumbo Size retails at S$245 while the previous 250mL retails at S$183 when I bought it (Do note that SK-II increase their pricing on a yearly basis - the 250mL is now priced at S$199 at Changi Duty Free). I made the decision to purchase the largest size since this is a daily staple to my routine plus the previous bottle took me close to one and half year to finish which was totally worth the money invested.

Also from SK-II line is the  SK-II Cellumination Deep Surge Ex. This product caught my eyes while I was shopping for the facial treatment essence. Since finished using the SK-II Stempower (which I need to share my thoughts here soon), I wanted to try out a new moisturizer that's lighter and with key benefits focusing on hydration, radiance and moisture. Though I am still obsessed with anti-aging/firming products, I didn't really find that the SK-II Stempower did much to my skin. I was debating between Clarins vs. SK-II while at duty free and decided to go with SK-II since the SA was much nicer (Sorry Clarins, you gotta buck up on customer service).

As I also finished up my SK-II Skin Signature Eye Cream. I was on an eye cream hunt in the market. I ended up purchasing Origins Ginzing Eye Cream (RRP: RM189) while I was on vacation in KL. It was a pretty good deal as it came as a set with an Origins Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm (I gave it away since I'm never a lippie kinda person) and a sample size of Origins Vitazing BB. I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about the eye cream.

After running outta my MUFE HD Primer, I dropped by Sephora in search of a new primer. Between the many offerings, I went with Tarte Clean Slate Poreless Primer (RRP: S$47) simply cause I was really curious about the brand. So far, I'd say that it's working it fine but as usual, I will need to give it another few tries before coming to a conclusion.

New to my MAC blushes collection are MAC Immortal Flower and MAC Dame. Both blushes are from the satin finish line and whilst I have yet to start using them on a daily basis, am definitely excited to be sharing the swatches with you guys soon.

The last product that I hauled is a new hair cream, Mucota Aire 09 - Veil for Wave. I must say that this is something that I am loving this month. I was sold at the hair salon the moment the stylist applied it on my hair and gave a blow dry. It works like a heat protectant, moisturizer and a cream to hold your curls. All in one, just the type that I like it.
