Mini Haul: What's in my Sephora Bag?

I've been such a lousy blogger lately.

With the increasing hectic schedule and my attempt in familiarizing myself with the surroundings, not to mention with all the walking going around here and there in my 3 inches heels; I often find myself a 'half dead fish' when I reach home.

Back to what I wanna share today.

I finally visited Sephora Singapore! Though I've visited a few times over my last few visits here but this is my actual VIRGIN time purchasing something directly from a Sephora outlet. As surprising as it is, I did not immediately plunge into my usual addict mode which involves hoarding every makeup which came in my view (I even passed on the naked palette, believe it or not! I think I deserve more shopping since now I noe for a fact that I can exert self control over my addiction). But this was mainly because I still think in conversion terms (SGD 1 to RM 2.4) instead of absolute numbers every time I look at one item, no joke...and everything became expensive instantly!

But anyway, here are the few things which I ended up purchasing...

Ole Henriksen Truth Revealed Kit

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I am still in a state of amazement by my willpower to only purchase those that I really needed (Bless u, conversion rate). I bought the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum since I ran out of my usual Biotherm whitening serum. For those of u unfamiliar with the peculiarity of Asian skin care routine, facial essence is like the Holy Grail and one of the most important step in our daily skincare routine. The Ole Henriksen Truth Serum trial pack was on the Recommended Shelf so I decided to try it even though it was my first time seeing it. But looking at how desperate I was with my deteriorating skin condition (am still desperate), this trial set was the perfect solution also because I was too cheap to get any full size products...LMAO.....This pack retails for SGD 34 (Not too bad price after the 2.4 conversion rate to Malaysian Ringgit, haha).

I also bought the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation which I've heard so many ravings among the beauty community. I was undecided between the MUFE HD foundation, Dior Nude Skin foundation and this. In the end, I bought this since it was the cheapest out of all 3. My shade was matched as Sand by the MU assistant. This product comes in 30ml size and retails for SGD 56. Also, since I brought along my passport, I was entitled to get a 5% tourist rebate off the total bill. So if u're visiting Singapore, do remember to bring ur passport on shopping and touring trips. U will most prolly be able to get good deals with it.

I tried both products today and so far I am still unsure of what I feel about them. However, I will definitely do a review soon once I'm done trying them. Do stay tune for that! =)

A lovely point to note was the shopping experience at Sephora. I shopped at the ION, Orchard outlet and I must say I am impressed with their customer service. All the shop assistants (well, at least 80% of them) were really helpful and welcoming though few were a teeny bit snobbish.

Have u tried any of the products? Let me know what u think of them..

P/S: Remember to join my giveaway which ends on 31st March. More information can be found here. I will announce the winner a week after the closing date and hopefully send out the prizes the week after the announcement.

XOXO
